COVID Related Updates & Delays

I'm not going to add to the flood of emails from every company you've ever given your email to as to how they are handling COVID right now.  I don't want you to be worried or surprised either.  So the following is an outline of how Smart Sassery is dealing with delays and changes during this pandemic.  

Your Safety

We are a high-risk household, so we are not allowing anyone into our home that does not live here. We are also not going out into public, beyond necessary doctors visits. We have been in isolation since March 2020.  Orders are packaged inside our home.  Even though we have been completely isolated, I am still disinfecting everything on a regular basis. I also package everything in packaging extremely easy to wipe down and sanitize before bringing it into your own home. This packaging is weather and dust resistant so it also helps keep the contents of your package safe during travel. 

Changes in the Shop

As you are probably already aware, I only source products from small businesses like myself here in the United States. It's very important to me that the people creating the items I need are treated well, and I love supporting families over corporations.  During this pandemic many small businesses were forced to close their doors.  Several of the products that I sourced are no longer available. I do apologize if some of your favorite items are no longer available, but they had to be discontinued. 

Times are crazy right now and we are all stressed. So I'm also including free gifts with every purchase just to bring as many smiles as I can into this world right now. I'll be doing this until I run out.


I am doing my best to get every order out as soon as possible.  Please understand there are still many delays affecting USPS deliveries. You can keep up with the delivery schedule in your area through the USPS website. As stated before I am a high-risk individual so I am using the USPS pick up service when shipping packages. Package pickups are scheduled on Tuesdays and Fridays. Sometimes a pickup is skipped if USPS does not have an adequate amount of drivers.  I have absolutely no control over the United Stated Postal Service. All services are experiencing delays.  

You are given the ability to track every order that you place through my store. You will know when a shipping label is created and your order is being worked, and get a notification the exact moment it ships. You will also be updated to any changes in delivery as well as get additional notifications when it is out for delivery and when it has been delivered. You will never have to guess when an order might show up.
